Self Help Activism

Research project, template manual and stamp.

The notion of this work is self-help is a pandemic phenomenon suffered by our modern times. With this research project we trolled the web to find the most obscure forms of self-help cum activism; groups formed by people drawn together to better themselves through group therapy and active association. We listed them, hundreds of them, in alphabetical order from Armchair Activism to Virtual Activism. We included space for imagery, using word bank descriptions of images that would engender the most popular emotional response for each category. And we created a verifying stamp, to officialise, bureaucratise, professionalize and legitimate such a manual. You can use the stamp, too.
